I've been told by my venue that my Disco must have full Public Liability Insurance and that all their equipment must be fully PAT tested?

These requirements are standard and have been for many years. Many discos cannot afford to have these benefits as public liability insurance can cost over £2000 per annum, and PAT testing costs around £5 per item, per year. All of our equipment is Portable Appliance Tested annually to the current HSE Electricity at Work regulations, and every item has a PAT certificate. Additionally we have £5 million worth of full public liability insurance. Copies can be supplied upon request for a small fee.
